The Government of Assam provides budgetary support to the Boro Kachari Welfare Autonomous Council (BKWAC) primarily through State-Owned Priority Development (SOPD) funds and other statutory resources. These allocations are released as Grant-in-Aid for the implementation of various Developmental and Welfare Schemes within the Council’s jurisdiction, in strict accordance with the state’s annual budget provisions."
