The Govt. of Assam provides fund to the Bodo Kachari Welfare Autonomous Council from Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) and other resources mostly as Grant-in-Aid for implementation of various Plan Schemes within the Council area as per the state Govt. budget provision.
Established in 2020, the Bodo Kachari Welfare Autonomous Council is an Autonomous body under the Bodo Kachari Welfare Autonomous Council Act, 2020 of Govt. of Assam with the objectives of socio-economic, educational, ethnic and cultural advancement of the people residing therein.
